This spring we planted a salsa garden—jalapenos, cilantro, Roma tomatoes, tomatillos, other tomatoes, etc. We also have a bunch of raspberry bushes. Today, I picked my first ripe tomato. It is beautiful.

I made this strawberry-rhubarb crumb pie with fresh rhubarb from my garden. It was so delicious. It has a custard base and oatmeal and sugar crumble on top. It did not last long.

Jon and I were taking a walk last night and we came upon this object in our alley:

It's creepy, right? I wasn't aware clowns liked to garden. What would a clown plant anyway?
