The Backward Life

I love Halloween, but this year demands on my time have dampened the spirit. Our tombstones aren't even up yet. I think my colleagues probably think I am really weird though. I got a little overly excited about the trick or treaters who visited the office yesterday. I even wore huge eyelashes with bats on them.
Maggie went to a dance and we are taking Mo on her last year of trick or treating. It is bitter sweet. I will take the time to make Halloween cookies tomorrow and put up the yard decorations- because who wants to trick or treat in a boring neighborhood?
