The Backward Life

I'm fortunate in that I can get away from the house once a week for an entire day of 'me time.' Not gonna lie... it is really wonderful, and I highly recommend it.

Come on "home" for a while, you can have a room all to yourself and I promise that we will turn off the television!

I used to have a noisy house with 5 kids and their friends hanging out there, and I loved it! I've never been much for quiet, but I do think there's some value in it. I'm one to have some noise going on whether it's the tv, or talk radio or music blaring....in having so much noise purposefully a way to avoid thinking? Every once in a while I do like quiet but not very often. I hope you can find your quiet time and alone time when you need it.
