The Backward Life

Although I am still not quite in the Christmas spirit, we have been attending many Christmas events lately. I am writing articles for an online website about things to to in Coeur d'Alene, so I end up taking the kids and Jon to a lot of places. Recently we went to the Holiday Lighting ceremony downtown and on a North Pole Cruise on Coeur d'Alene Lake. The light show, along with the fireworks was absolutely amazing. The cruise, not so much. I was lucky enough to get some free tickets for it, otherwise it would have cost almost $16.00 per person. I felt bad for the people who paid. I think the kids had fun though. The girls and I got to go on a horse drawn carriage ride last weekend. That was very cool. The carriage went right down Sherman Avenuein downtown, and best of all it is free.
