The Backward Life

Almost everyday one of my children does something that surprises me. Not always in a good way. Jon and I got up the other morning to the sound of the girls' voices. When we came into the front room we found them playing a game together — only Moira was dressed up. Her mask was one she made a few months ago at a street fair out of a paper plate and the blanket is courtesty of her Grandma Nette. She wore her outfit all day long. It made my day.
